Hand Made Teas
Return to China Tea List
There is a long tradition in China of producing teas which are not only for drinking but also for observing! As trade with China has become easier and the "traditional" State trading companies have lost their monopoly so more of these visual feasts have become available.

These are teas to enjoy for their taste but they are also to be enjoyed as works of art and cannot really be hurried - so if you want a "quick cuppa" then these are not the teas to try. Ideally they are best made in a glass tea pot or infused in and drunk direct from a wine glass. All of these teas are best infused with water that is "off the boil", although as with all things taste it is a personal judgement! Remember all these teas are good for several infusions.
